Big Problem!

K i have an 18" Bl wired to 1 ohm on a mono PA3000DB. I was listening to the music at a normal level. Not even loud. Then my sub freaked out. It hits at a constant beat but not with the engine and my music doesnt have to be playing. My amp went into protect and is staying in protect. Sometimes when i turn my car on the sub just sucks in and reaches its full excursion inward. WTF

Any help or ideas to fix it.

Seems as though the amp is outputting direct DC to the sub.

The amp is broke, if you turn it on again, you may fry the sub.

x2, I've seen DC throw the former out of the gap and onto the top of the pole. Nice quick way to freeze up a woofer as well:laugh:
