Big Boy system help

ive decided to get a big boy system. i think im going to get a used ampere audio from whoever has it cheapest. could you guys help me pick my subs out. ive been talking alot with murphey from tantric about to HD 12s. my concern is it has a lower bl than i like, but crazy xmas.what are some subs that could handle 3500-4000 rms between them. my goals are a low end ground pounder. i want to kill the lows and do well in the upper 40 hz. numbers aren't a big deal.last season i only competed in 129.9 bass race, this season i would like to easily be able to do the 139.9 class. what are some beast musicical subs that arent crazy expensive?

The hd subs should be nice on that amp. Also a set of havocs will also slam

hdc4 12 on sale like 279.... very beastly and will eat that 3500-4000 with no problem, good sub, tantric hdd could be had used on here for a nice price... if your going new without breaking the bank hdc4 all day....

ive heard the hdc4s at two shows and neither blew my mind. wasn't that impressed. probly was installers fault though. that HDD is almost the same price as new. and murphey is doing 10% off for black friday. he needs to lower the price at least 50 bucks for it to be "cheap" like the seller stated. i just bought Aa new car, a 98 camry so now im limited to either two tens in a trunk wall or one beast 12 normal configuration. sub back port back. what do you think would be smartest? one 12 would be cheaper and easier, but would the extra output from two tens be worth the extra money and lots.of extra work?

subs will be on 3800-4500 rms, going in a trunk car. if two tens in will be a trunk wall, if one twelve it will be normal configuration.

if you have x amount of power and can afford 2 woofers to run on that power it will be better you have more cone area and more voice coil to absorb heat
