I just ran 1/0 from my alternator + to battery + and ran my amp ground (1/0) directly to the frame when i ran out of wire. How important is it to do the chassis and battery to frame ground? Stock appears to be 4 gauge, MAYBE 6 but isnt wimpy.

new wire.. dont even think about useing a butt connector to extend the wire..my stock wiring that connects to the battery isnt lone enough to connect to my new terminals after i cut off the stock connector how can i make this work
