Big 3 With 240 Amp Alt, Lots Of Pics

well i didn't have enough 0 gauge for big three so i did it ghetto with dual 4 gauge runs per ring terminal. 0 gauge has 4704 strands and the dual 4 has ~3700 strands, almost just as good. also installed my 240 amp irraggi alternator.

car now idles at 14.7 at front battery. it used to be 13.5~13.8

so you still ended up not fusing the wire from the alt to the battery? not the smartest move imho.

no i will in the near future though. i also left the stock alt positive wire that went to the fuse box, in the iraggi instructions it said to leave it. should i remove it when i upgrade to 0 gauge?

Hope you have good luck with it.

I'd put a few zip ties on that alt + to bat + just to keep the wire from moving around.
