Just found this forum and this is my first post.
I'm upgrading my 1992 Chevy K1500 charging system, and swapping out my CS130 alternator for a CS144, and im trying to figure out what to do about the fusible link on the alternator power wire at the junction box. 1st off, the 1/0 wire isn't going to fit on the post without touching the other posts around it, and 2nd, I'm pretty sure you can't use a fusible link on that size wire. So what are my options here?

Get rid of the wire with the fuseable link. Use 1/0 with an actual fuse. Upgrade the D block to one that will expect larger wire.
I'm using a 250 amp on the power to the amplifier, so what size do I need to fuse the other 2 wires with? I've got some extra 60's and 100's laying around
