Big 3 upgrade question.

actually all you need is like a 100 amp fuse and look on ebay they have great circuit breaker boxes that seem to work pretty good. and the 0 guage wire suto parts store some times has it or if you loom it you can use car audio wire for that

Dude, just stop now while your ahead. Well, your not really ahead.. so just stop.

Circuit breakers, while cheap in the long run if you have a tendancy to blow fuses, also have a higher tendancy to melt open. Which will then cause a short, which will then cause fire. Which is bad.

The size fuse he needs depends on several factors. The first being.. what size alternator does he have? The second.. what gauge wiring is he doing the Big 3 in? Thirdly, how much power is in his system? What is the draw potential.

If he uses 1/0awg for the Big 3, then a 250-350A fuse would be what he needs. If he uses 4awg, then an 80-150A will suffice.

Read up on some of this basic info please.
