big 3 question

look in the fuse panel find the alt fuse and use the same rating , but no fuse will give you better results( I gained about3/4 of a volt by doing away with the fuse it has a high ohm load) you just want to run a voltage meter in the car so if something go's wrong you shut it down and not the fuse

 
If you fuse according to wire size then you could fuse around 300a they may not give you much of a loss in voltage but with a rating that high it's not going to blow very quickly either in the event that the voltage reg. on the alt goes out. it would only really help in the event of a direct short.
