Big 3 question regarding fuse size and alt upgrade

I know there are 1000 big 3 threads on here so I will make this short and simple.

I wanna do the big three upgrade.

Some time in the next 6 months I will be getting a h/o alt

Will the 300 amp fuse on my stock alt be ok until I upgrade.

dont fuse anything for big 3. only power wire for amp(s)

Oh ok, yeah my original question was asking about the fuse of the wire from alternator to batt if I caused confusion.

So no fuse for that wire, no sh ite, well saves me money. Thanks!

you can if you want. it wont hurt anything, and it would help in case of a short.

Yeah I just got a Skar 1500.1 put in yesterday and lights are dimming pretty bad.

I have gain about 1/2 way up and I do have a yellowtop but thats it.

Think I better turn the gain down till I get the big 3 in.
