BIG 3 help!!!!

I have a 01 durango....My alternator's power runs to the fuse block then to the battery. Should i follow the same path with the new cable or should I go directly to the battery?????

to a single fuse or to the entire panel? I would think you run it directly to the battery since it is essentially for your amp which will be running directly off the battery. leave the original wiring in place thogh to power everything else. just make sure you fuse your 0 ga

it runs to the vehicles fuse block. I am going to leave the original wiring due to its being in good shape. Does the alternator need to have its output regulated by that fuse block or can i shoot it directly into the battery?

I dont think you need to run to the fuse block as long as you fuse youre wiring properly you should be fine running it direct. If anything it is using the fuseblock as a fuse before going to the battery. just pop a 250a anl on the 0ga before your battery.
