I would like a DC level 5 or 6 18. Sundown Zv4 18. American Bass Vfl 18. Im up for anything in the playing field as well. Gonna be running 4k. I need Dual 1 coils preferably. But will maybe consider a Dual 2 for the right woofer and price. Let me Know

I can build you up an 18.. I have a Dc level 6 M3 motor.. I can check price on the dc level 6 m3 recone

Well i think the m3b is totally capable of 3.5k maybe even 4k of coarse with a stout electrical. dont hate on my amp now : P but im gonna do some hard research in on those hdc4s i need more people telling me there capable of 4 to 5k all day err day. Im not saying nasty is wrong. Iv heard good things about AQ but not that good. as to why iv never purchased anything from them. All good stuff but I like DD better

No not hating on the amp yes it will put that out and more but after rise it will not see a clamped 3500 thats what timmy was talking about sayin 2 3500s isnt actually getting to the sub..ive ran a cpl dds 9500s and they are nice..start a thread asking about real world power handling of a hdc4

I really think im leaning toward a dd 9518 now someone offered me some. I need to know if the vfl 18s are any good. They look so pretty Iv heard about 2 that a guy near me had with a 750.1 vfl on 2 15 vfls and that **** was slammin.

Well im going with the Level 6 from Moler. Just as good of a deal as the hdc4. still gonna be new and way more speaker. thanks for your help nasty i was really looking into those hdc4s they are starting so many fights on forums its kinda funny. people dont know what to think ahahaha

Lvl6 is a monster for sure

I put together my friends set up of 2 hdc3 18" s running off of 2 aq 3500's . I remember telling him that if they would take 3500 rms each and last for more than a week I would have a new favorite woofer... That was 8 months ago lol and they are still bangin.. That's a helluva deal. 350$ for a woofer that will take 3500rms. For like 100$ more you can do the hdc4 18" and it will take quite a bit more. I have a hdc4 15 in my work truck and I run it off of 2 audiopipe apk2500's strapped (about 4800 rms) and it never has any issues.

So either hdc3 309.00 which is about like a lvl4 or hdc4 400$. I would say the hdc4 is similar in power handling to a dc lvl5 and is a helluva lot cheaper. I know there was a guy in the classifieds with 2 x18's with z series reconnect and soft parts for like 600$ might check it out

Are you decided on 18"s?? I had never done 18"s so on my last build I really wanted to try some so I went with a pair of ppi PC18 (225$) running them off of 2 ppi bk1800's and I was happy with output but ended up going back to 4 15"s and was much happier in the end

Man the lvl6 is a monster sub no doubt I just think the hdc4 is a better value sub they sound great, will take stupid powa and for 400$ you can't beat it.. You could get 2 hdc4's for the cost of 1 lvl6 I'm not downing the dc but for 800$ you could get an emf audio monster..

I was gonna run lvl4 18"s and just could not see the benefit in spending 2-3 hundred more for the dc over the hdc3 or 4

The benefit is more comparing a level 6 to a hdc4 than a level 4. Yet double the money can handle double the power. maybe almost lol the value is there because im not pushing a speaker to its limits sqeezing every penny i spent on it.

A lvl 6 cant handle twice what a hdc4 can ..and u wont be pushing it to the limits on ur m3b..not sayin the lvl 6 is a bad choice by anymeans but u gota decide urself if its worth the extra dough

Ok let's put it like this if I win the lottery than tomorrow I'll wall off my new ride with 8 dc lvl 6 15"s on 2 dc 10ks if I wake up tomorrow and I'm still having to work for the man then I'm prolly gonna spend half of that amount on hdc4's

Love dc just really spendy and at this lvl of woofer twice the money does not give you twice the woofer...diminishing returns.

Where in any of my post say it was seeing 7500? Ur not gona see 3500 from a m3b either so id say hes good ...whats ur suggestion for something better for 400 bux

I'm not saying it's not sweet for the money just not gunna take 2 3500s daily ... at least not anywhere close to full power ... just because one guy has that setup and knows what he's doing and when to back off etc .. doesn't mean that sub can take 7k like your saying up there .. which you aq huggers do alot

Like i said ive seen that setup daily on many diff 3500s...and yea when sending that much to any sub u gota be careful ...havent seen anyone suggest anything better within his budget

Yes i do think the DC level 6 m3 is twice the sub that a hdc4 18 is. Im sorry but thats a 2000 rms sub and if u say it can take 4k ok ill believe you but if you think a dc level 6 18 cant take 8k then your crazy. It will take 8k. So yes double the power. Double the money. And I think DC is better quality overall than AQ. Always have been
