Beware of noob amp repair guys! Lol.

Whao bro. Don't blow a gasket bro. You know getting all defensive like that is throwing some major red flags for the rest of us. You're stringing him along and he believes you. Of course he isn't complaining yet.
i'm not blowing a gasket , check stanky1219's last few posts. LOL. That was me blowing a gasket. I'm just not gonna be ****** into the usual spider monkey "blanket of douchery".

I don't have time to read the entire thread so if my advice has been covered just ignore me but I will say this is why you need thoroughly bench test an amplifier after you repair it. I'm not talking about just powering it up, I'm talking about hooking it up with a dummy (resistor) load and feeding it a sine wave for 12 hours. I own Perry Babin's repair tutorial (the creator of bcae1.com) and that's one of the big things he stresses is proper testing after you believe it's fixed.
As a side note, I have some awesome gigantic resistors for load testing. The company I worked for was cleaning house and they were just going to pitch em but I saved them. They're like 12" long and 2-3" in diameter, capable of handling hundreds of watts. But even running the amp with a few 50w resistors at low power would be better than nothing. You could also use a speaker but that creates a lot of noise and if anything fails in the amplifier you have the potential of damaging the speaker.

Also I'm not trying to lay into you or anything, I think your taking the proper steps to make it right so no reason for that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
This is why i won't be selling anymore amps i work on , i do not own the proper equipment to do repairs correctly. Now , if i did have proper equipment and knew for sure that i did a good job there would be no way in hell i would refund. But aztec has been around for a long time and i am pretty confident it was my fault so i gave him as much of his dough back as i could at this point in time..

This is what you get for postin this in the dome lol
it doesnt bother me , if he keeps attempting the ol button pushing routine that i witness him doing to everybody else i will just ignore his posts. LOL. Besides , its his thing , he gets off on it , who am i to stop him from being a douche? LOL

didn't buy the amp , got it from my cousin who recieved it in a trade from a craigslist deal , i got his AA assassin 10 sold and he let me have the broken sundown. I sunk close to 20 in parts hoping to turn a quick profit and then poof , the profit turned into debt. I seriously thought the amp was solid. I drove around for 20 minutes or so with it bangin , but if all the same parts crapped out again its gotta be something i missed causing the flame ups.

Seems like common sense. Someone would have to be a total freakin moron to buy an amplifier that some stupid noob repaired himself. No wonder so many retards are still getting scammed on here. Ya'll m'fers don't have any kinda sense. Retards buying from retards.

Oh I see. Is he gonna ship it back to you so you can try to fix it again?
i told him to keep it. my first time being inside of a sundown amp and to be honest i wasn't impressed. Looked very cheap compared to either of my amplifiers that are rated for the same power. Looked like a retarded robot soldered it all in. i'm used to seeing ES , ZED , PPI , O/S MTX. Stuff that had heart , not the chinese or whatever (non japanese) asian descent these amps are. LOL
