well i called them about the viper 791xv, and tbe guy told me 500installed. i think that is pretty steep, and was planning on installing it myself anyways. so can i jst pay the 200 or w/e to buy the unit?u

the whole thing about it being installed is that u get the lifetime warrenty. if u did install u dont get that. trust me it is the biggest mark up ever. i got the pythin 871xp lcd teh works for 150$ and 100$ to get it installed so i get my warrenty with it.

yea i know, my friend is an installer though, so i dont want to spend another 300 for just that.

I'm an Installer for Bestbuy. Hes right, the majority of the price on any unit we sell, is the warranty. Our insurance company wont allow us to sell it to anyone without us installing it.
