Bestbuy gave me secret pricing?

Okay so a few days ago we purchased a new 40" samsung LED (UN40D6000)

I looked around all over online, and every where locally (sears, microcenter, BB) and bestbuy had the best price anywhere online or locally so I decided to go with best buy.. which is extremely rare I never buy stuff from them.

So I ordered it online for store pick up. Total came to $853 after tax (799$ online price) and I paid with my bank card.

Go to the store, sign the reciept show them my ID and take the TV home

When I got home, I looked at the reciept she gave me, it said "UN40D6000 - 599.99" and my total was 629$ after tax. I was like wtf?

Checked my bank statement and the $853 was still processing.

Next day, the charge went through, I was only charged $629 for the TV. In the store they were 899 and online it was 799

How the **** did I get such a deal? Glitch? I dont wanna go into the store and ask lol but **** I might upgrade if they are hookin me up on deals.

any ideas?

Summer Sale or display model. The best buy here keeps their stock on the second floor shelving so they grab whatever is close. Display models and open box just happen to be down on the floor.

OPEN BOX!!! or maybe u just got lucky but ive gotten a better deal from BB. got a 50" samsung for just over 700 and thats with taxes and a 2 year warranty

black tie warranty that tv for the 4yr extended cuhz samsung tvs in general ****. u either get a dud or get lucky and get a good one.

either way u got a great deal.

if i were u, keep that tv on 24/7 and burn it. and use that warranty to get an upgrade.

there are loop holes =)

I also thought this. Maybe I got hooked up. I always try to be nice to people especially at places like chipotle, its simple if your rude you get shorted. A little bit of nice goes along way

You're crazy bro. Samsung is the ****. I can only speak about their LCD considering I hate plasma, but I've owned multiple samsung LCD tv's and monitors and have had nothing but great success with them. They are reliable, good looking and the picture is always great. Although this is my first LED backlit one, I'm very happy with it so far.

2 or 3 years ago I paid $900 for a 40" 5 series regular floro LCD that didnt look nearly as good

I thought it may be an open box too.. but everything was definitely factory packaged and new. Plus im pretty sure they could get into some trouble giving people open boxes when they bought a new model if someone found out

Im thinking about going to a diff bb location and asking them how that happened, cause if they are really cheaper than advertised I wanna get a bigger one

I would just ask them. They already charged you. You already own it. They aren't going to come repo it at your house if you deny a charge on your bank card for more money. From my experience, they can't do that. Or just call and ask them, claim a friend got one at that price. What are they gonna do, track your number?

I'm not afraid of anything like that, but I def wouldn't want to get somebody in trouble for hookin me up if i go back to the store or something. Thats why I'm probably gonna go to another store and ask what happened and how I can have it happen again

WOW. I just checked. The UN32d6000 (same model but 32 not 40) is $800 online!!! I got mine for $200 cheaper and its bigger.. Wtf.

black tie depends on price of tv. i'd said bring only the receipt to BB and tell them u want the black tie 4yr on ur new purchase and if they sweetn the deal with the buy back program, take it with no questions.

worth the investment. trust me im tryn a blow my 52" LG led right now so i can get the new version of it=)

worst comes to worst, im going to throw a heater back of my tv and let it burn lol.

BB is a company like wal-mart, all they can do is warranty a defective item.
