first of all let me say, YES i did search for this and there is no other thread like it..... i think. anyway, i am looking for a good reliable amp for low $$$. i know some of the brands that are overrated, but what about underrated amps??

my kicker kx1200.1 was rated at 1200 and puts out 1475 according to the birth sheet

my Original DD M1's were rated at 150 @ 4 ohms and I'm told do close to 2000 at one ohm....can be dropped to 1/4 ohm....I have a Rare US Amps 100HC that is rated at 100 watts @ 4 ohms...It does 2000+ at 1 ohm bridged...My Kicker XS 50 rated at 25 x 2 @ 4 does 667 Bridged at 1 ohm....Those are a few under rated that I have

Orion HCCA G4 amps from the 90's were some of the most underated amps that could drop down to .5 ohms

the old school 21 & 23(i.e.1021,1023,921,923, etc..) series from kenwood were pretty solid amps Imo. But there pretty hard to find anymore.(early 90's models)

the new kenwoods **** **** ****. i bought two and they both crapped out on me within a couple months. gains were set pretty much the way it came.
