Monicleds are beautiful Cobras. A freind of mine has a couple.

When did you have to get a permit for a Burmese? As of yet, you need no permits in Florida, except for venomous, which I will be getting my permit within a month. Almsot done with my 1000 hours training.

i dont know where you get your information from man but for the 6 huge ass constrictors, nile monitors, and all venomous reptile you need the Reptiles Of Concern permit which costs $100, plus you have to micro tag and register you animal which costs around another $90 typically. After the photo of the dead burmese and alligator in the everglades in 2006 the FWC has been getting stricter about large reptiles. IIRC in 2006 or 2007 they did major revisions to the laws and then revised them again effective Jan 1 2008..... Several cities across FL hosted an exotic pet amnesty day for a no questions asked drop off of illegal exotics. They were to be dropped off at certain locations from people who for whatever reason wanted to get rid of their illegal animals.....to the everyone's surprise barely anyone showed up for these functions lol......

bout 3/4 of the way down on the left hand side of the page is where you find the permit. they require the permit application/$100, the questionnaire, and a detailed emergency evacuation plan which are to be kept on site at all times.

Hmm, that's weird. I know they are trying to propose a ban on Pythons and Boas crossing state lines in shipping, and a ban on Import and Export. I have Reticulated Pythons, and Burnmese Pythons, along with Ball Pythons, and some Boas.

I haven't been on any forums in forever though. Just take care of my own snakes and keep to my self with them.

I'd love to have an albino monacled cobra as well as a king cobra and gaboon viper but the venemous permits in Tennessee are near impossible to obtain.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

My friend that has the Monicleds has a couple Gaboons. They are some of the most eye-appealing venomous snakes out there, IMO.

I agree. Their velvety skin just makes you want to pet them, but then that would really ****.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
