Best amp for old school JL w6

Jus like title says need an amp for one 12" old school w6.

Dual 6 ohm

300rms

Not quite sure if I want only one so want an amp that can run 2 of em as well later down the road.

Leaning towards the JL 500/1 (since I heard they're underrated)

But what u guys think?
