Best amp for 400 rms x 2

2 10" Fosgate P3's DVC rated at 400 rms. What amp would you choose to run these subs? Can go 4ohm or 2ohm...

why not go with a mono class d amp?

you could easily find 800x1 @ 2 ohms or @ 1 ohm amps within your budget.

The PPI PCX2200 does 400x2 at 2ohms. Ive been using it for years with great results. They were the last of the "True" PPI amps. Theres a few on ebay now. They usually go for about $200.

You need a mono amp that does 800@1. Probably easier(and with better choices) to find one that does 1k@1 and set the gains correctly.

These amps above put out about that ..Which is the better of the three ... I've owned a kicker and it did very well !!!! But I'd like some opinions on these as well..
