Best amp for 2 600RMS subs

What would be the best amp to Power 2 12" RE SE's (600RMS each)??? Would you go with the JBL 1200.1? any amps with a subsonic filter that can power these and still stay under $300?

The subs are DVC 4-ohm so he can get the elemental designs nine.1 and run it at 1-ohm. It should crank out 1200 RMS @1-ohm since the website says it does 1009 @1-ohm with only 10.9 volts.
