Bends in a round port

You’ll get port noise bending round ports, negating the advantage of using round ports. Round ports are more efficient and have less internal surface area than a slot port, until you put a bend in it. Now you have a turbulence point. The only way to avoid this is to get 16 SQ. Inches of port area per sq. foot of box space, which now means multiple bends and a lot of box space taken up by port. I love round ports and use them all the time, but they need to be straight with no bends and they need to be flared. My 2 cents.

Just needed a port about 25" long for a 6" port, but I could drop down to a 4" port then it's only 10.5" long
Is it a single 12? 4 inch ports work fine for 12s. I had this box in my SUV for a while with a few different subs ranging from 500 watts to 1500 watts and they all did fine with the 4 inch flared port.

Once you get the tools and basics down it's not too bad. The turn table is a must imo.

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
