the BX1500D was benched at 13xx at 1 ohm when it was rated at 1500. It's on the forums somewhere, search it up. Hifonics are known to be a little overrated.

That was at 10% thd. IIRC it was less than 1000 @ real world voltage and .66 thd.

however, that doesn't mean the next one off the line wasn't a lot closer to rated power, and it certainly doesn't mean ALL the 06's are over-rated too, but someone did post recently - I think it was on a 1606 - 1300w or something like that.

when i got my 1606d benched at kbaudio i think it was around 1300w at 13.8v. But it blew up one week later so back to kbaudio it goes and another bench on it.

Kb audio is nowhere to be found, so cant get it fixed again but i do still have the email and it is around 1350w at 13.8v. My friends all have the 2006's and they will do some damage on a good electrical but as always u get what you pay for.

0 gauge big 3, 0 gauge wiring from the alt all the way to the bxi2006d, 240A alternator, red top in the back, interstate megatron mkII in front, kinetik 800 6 inches from the input on the amp, gains set with an o-scope with -3db tones, no bass boost, and only peaked 143.xdB @ 45hz on a TL with 2 15" L7's in 4.5 cubes each, tuned @ 35hz.

Completely disregarded the wellbeing of the amp/subs after being disappointed with that score, and cranked the sh@@@ out of the amp, and still couldn't beat 143.

yeah your box is the problem. Tuned to 35 hz. Thats too low for comps. Tune it higher around 50 hz and you should improve your score.

I read where they use the same electrical stuff from the last few years.

Only cosmetic changes.
