Beast tweeters, 500wrms anyone tried them?

My system atm is overpowering on the bass end and originally i liked it but i feel the need to boost the highs a bit so i'm looking around for a nice loud tweeter and this looks pretty sweet, anyone tried one of these?

I'd also like to know how it works with tweeters, would i get the 3db increase with a second tweeter / the surface area rule that applys to subs?

or would i be better off with a single tweeter on double power?

don't know if there's much of an advantage to stereo in a car with very loud tweeters, these tweeters are also 8 ohms so it would be easier to run a single one on two channels... or i'm not sure how else to get decent power through an 8 ohm speaker

i will admit i am fairly ignorant when it comes to real sound quality systems, i've been interested in bass systems until now and i'm starting to look into better sound quality systems hence the quick question.

but i am currently looking into component systems and how to set one up properly, just interested to see if anyones tried these

My cousin has one of those, sounds like shit. Amped components with the tweeter properly aimed can keep up with a lot of bass on 150W.

I know of a guy who had something similar to these with 3 8" or 10" PA drivers in each door in his Magnum...didn't care for it.

There was no coherent blend....it was just loud. Also didn't like how the stage was beside my pants leg.

tweeter adds very little to the overall output, you need louder mids. PA mids/supertweeters or a comp set. How loud is your bass?

That is the opposite of what you want if your going more towards SQ
