well see the next 2 seasons....looks like 2009-2010 we got em first game of the season in the horseshoe.....next season the second game in USC.....

sorry to say but ohio state doesnt get destroyed....once (last years national championship) is the last time i can remember actually getting pwnd....

dont worry next year well get usc and then ull really hate ohio state.....cant wait till OSU embarrases USC like they did the over hyped texas longhorns last season.

hell Iowa almost beat Texas last year in the Alamo Bowl. And they had 30+ blue-chip recruits compared to Iowa's 3-4...lol

texas, michigan, florida.......beat 2 of 3....wasnt OSU the only team to have to play 2 #1 teams in college football history? seems like a pretty good schedule to me

It's hard because some of the front runners, LSU, Kentucky, South Carolina, all lost to each other. LSU beat South Carolina, but lost to Kentucky, who lost to South Carolina, Kentucky beat LSU who beat South Carolina, but Kentucky lost to South Carolina, and South Carolina beat Kentucky who beat LSU, but South Carolina lost to LSU. I say the #1 should be between those 3 teams.

we havent given up more than a touchdown to anyone but washington......most of our points we score before the half, tressel puts in the scrubs and we still dont give up any points.....

honestly i dont mind them being number 1....they are The Ohio State Buckeyes...whether you know the players names or not they are a top team year in year out.....look at the teams that supposedly deserved the number 1 ranking already this season...they lost, ohio state hasnt been beaten yet....if they lose we all know they will drop almost out of the top 25 due to their easy schedule then all the debate can end.

if you watch their defense you see they look an awful lot like the 02 team that no one gave a chance to win the national title...but they shocked the world and beat a team that everyone dubbed unbeatable...since the 1st team offense doesnt really get to play much into the 2nd half you really cant tell if they can hang with the best in the country...but their defense is solid.....until they are beat they should stay #1......

Ohio State was #1. You don't remember the whole debate about #2 between Michigan and Florida last year? Michigan was never #1, and iirc Ohio State was the preseason #1.
