bazooka tube wont work

Hey guys, i recently purchased a bazooka NOS8A amplified sub for my car, got it wired up and used it for a few days with no problems, until i went driving for more than 15min i noticed the bass from it would fade to off and about a minute later it would fade back in for a while and continue to do this....then recently it just plain ol stopped working...i dug through my fuses, wiring, connections, and even re-soldered all my wires and it still does nothing...i had the gains up fairly high and i like my music loud...what is wrong with my sub? im running 8ga wiring with a 40 amp fuse....thanks!

just be glad u dont have to listen to that crappy bass anymore
