batt in the trunk?

Went to a car.audio place today and sais i was only hitting about 600 watts.said i need a batt in the trunk.the dual batt will make it play longer with the car off?

what is your setup car, amps, subs, wiring, all of it. An extra batt will help it play longer with the car off but it might be unnecessary, just start your car...

05 impala 4 gauge 2 sundown e 12s.brz 1200.1 i.dont care about playing music with tje car off .he said a extta batt would give my amps full power

well adding a batt can only help but i doubt you will see 1200w. Just get your big 3 done and see where you are sitting at voltage wise after.

Big 3 and upgrade the battery under the hood if you want.

This is why i hate car audio shops with a passion ..they tell someone ther only "hitting" 600watts....how does one "hit" watts . lol...is there a watt to db conversion chart somewhere lol
