are these good batteries for the price? i've heard they beat out Kinetik for most bang for your buck. I'm plannin on runnin a DD M3 in the future. what size would you recommend? -thanks

I used to have two of the X-Static Batcap 800's and I loved them.

My friend has a Batcap 2000 and it performs very very well.. As good or better than Kinetiks...

I switched to DEKA Intimidators..maybe give them a look...the big group 9A31's...Fairly cheap and equal to a Kinetik 2400...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

I think they're awesome. Never tried Kinetiks.

I have a Batcap 2000 & 800 for my RD 5750.1 (@ 2 ohms) and RD 55.4 AB. I get no dimming at all with a 150a alt.

see i have a 130 amp alt and with 2 batteries and big three i hope to get no dimming. i really don't want to have to get an ho alt

JUST a DD M3? 2400 watts right? I think you would be fine with 2 800s or just one 2000.

I don't even have the big 3 done, but I have one run of what I believe to be 2/0 going from the front to the back of the car (my battery is already in the trunk).

thats right. but ive heard with good voltage you can get 3000w+ out of them. and considering i'm prolly runnin dd 3500s, it'll take that

Well...to give you an idea...I have my Batcaps, my 150a alt, and a 600 cc stock battery. I'm reading between 13.94-14.1 on each of my inputs on the 5750.1 (3200 @ 2 ohms) at IDLE. I don't know what it drops to at full tilt either. Still need to fine tune and test a little further.

I don't think it drops too bad but when I post my "final" build log I'll list all my details.
