I can agree as long as you pick the right battery for the right purpose and use. I always try and go local with my dealers IF I can, but IF you can't they can all be found online at pretty reasonable prices. If you do that though sometimes you are at the mercy of the seller which is another reason I TRY to keep it local.

The issue with online dealers and eBay is that you are not buying from an authorized dealer and usualy you do not have any warranty from the manufacturer. So, if you want a warranty, make sure you buy from an authorized dealer. If you are not sure if a dealer is authorized or not, call the manufacturer and ask. They will be happy to help I am sure. Never trust the seller to be honest about whether or not they are authorized. The bad seller will still tell you they are authorized anyways.

How many of those competitors used to be bat cap then switched prior to winning their first or a world title?
I will agree with you if you are loud you will be loud no matter what you use but IF what you were trying to say that the Bat cap is so much better why were they not used by more winning cars? Did you see who the manufacturer of the year was by chance? Kinetik: The price difference compared to winning a world championship and for what the rest of the equipment costs I wouldnt think would be that HUGE of a deal considering what some tie up into it.

I do not know who is all "sponsored" or not off that list but I seriously doubt they all were. Are you also saying Bat Cap will just sponsor anyone?

Ok, lets look at it from a SQ perspective. Why didnt Sinfoni amps take home some titles? How bout a Nakamichi 700MKII? What about Tru Technologies? Dont think I saw any Focal Utopias either? Are these great products and "cream of the crop"? Just because they did "win" because they weren't used does not make another product better. I really think the marketing of a product and yes Kinetik has done a wonderful job of that makes people come up with these conclusions. I run Batcaps, love them and dont care to switch. Nothing wrong with Kinetik by anymeans but it is not the end all be all of batteries just like Zapco is no the end all be all of amps. Choose your products wisely and be happy, I personally run what I condsider the best on the market.

Tru had a world finals win and it was with a Kinetik battery at this years finals...cream of the crop products are nice I will not argue that but I also know that when all things are considered install and knowing what you are doing are more important than what you use.

I am not dogging on bat caps either as I consider them a staple in car audio

Also in SPL some classes have strict rules where they run an extreme amount of power off one or 2 batteries. What might work well for a few seconds to get a score in alot of cases is not a great set up for daily unless they totally detune their equipment or change out amplifiers and sub woofer wiring.
