well, you know drugs do affect different people mentally. haven't you ever seen that person that turns totally psycho with one shot too many? i know a few. i also know a few, even relative, that are some of the most decent people, who would give anyone the shirt off their back in a heart-beat. "pleasers" they really don't know when to take for themselves like a normal person does, and that does build up in the sub-conscience to a breaking point. i've seen one go on a binge out of nowhere a couple times over the years. another does not drink anymore, since it has lead to him doing things that land him in jail. for me, it's pretty much the opposite. i don't really react to drinking, and stay somewhat responsible take pain meds 24/7, too, but that's just my personal physiology. 2 of the worse recreational drugs i know of that will change how the mind works for a while, even after use, is meth and ecstasy. meth is more severe, but ecstasy is longer lasting. and, on the other hand, i have seen the same, or worse on chantix., and have even seen certain foods have mental reactions. i'm not saying that it is ok, or really excuses doing bad business, but i do understand being far out of character as a result of the drugs. if he is off it, and will stay off, then i would say he could be back to being a stand-up person. can't un-do the past. i'm sure i could feel ok doing business with him again in the future.
