Im new to this site but i think it does what its called. Im guessing you use it like on your front speakers and it takes away the bass on them im not sure though im new. Just a guess though

They block lower frequencys (bass) on speakers that can't handle them, so it helps reduce or get ridof distortion. I have them on both my front 3.5" speakers and rear 6x9's. Usually come in defirent cut-off frequencies...

i have them on my 3.5" to cuz when the bass hits they sound nasty... they really do make a big difference in SQ

I have em on my stock font speakers, eliminated any low-end distortion and popping too. BB sells them, probably not at the best price though.

Thats where i got mine too, i think around 13 somethin a pair. I didnt check around for prices though, im sure i probably could have gotten em for cheaper somewhere else.

i couldnt think of what to call it last night but i knoew it was that

they are basic capacitors used to give a 6db x over slope..

I would just reccomend getting a full crossover, AUdio Control makes some of the very best
