Hey everyone. Well, it finally happened yesterday. My bass system has now been installed in my car. My first reaction has been OMG!! I have a Mitsubishi Eclipse hatchback and the way I designed it , was great without sub, but ..... anyway, When I heard the test cd I was in shock and aww. Even the salesguy couldn't believe 1 12 could have sounded like this. The installer has the sub pointed towards the rear. I say all of this because I did not expect all of this spl/sq from this sub. I was looking for sheer bass enhancement and man am I happy now. I obviously have some tweeking to do, but that wiil come as I go along. I think a hatchback makes a major difference because I would have never bought this sub if I had a trunk application. You ask what the setup is. This may seem hard for all of you to believe, it is for me too, but rememer what kind of car and what my intentions are. My amp is a Directed audio 600 watt and the sub is a 12' Alpine type E yes type E. Vented box....You never hear anything about this sub on this forum because there is MUCH better out there and there is. But look at crutchfield reviews and you will see that 26 people give this sub a avereage of 5 stars. Must be something to that. Entry level that it may be, for my daily drive it is one bad *** sub. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
