Bass remote, Please look.

Ok i just bought a la strike 1000, its really nice and looks new, and i heard it pounding the shit out of two cvr 15''s. Now i cant get it to work, it comes on green, i turned the gain up a little bit, check all my wires, subwoofer is on on my pioneer, the master switch is on, not slave. Will this amp not work without the bass remote? cuz i forgot to get that off the guy.

No amplifier requires the remote knob, it is simply an accessory.

Is this your first amplifier install?

If not, did you change anything when putting this amp in?

well my memphis required the remote to put out sound, and so does most rockford amps, so im thinking thats what it is.

The LA Strike amp does not require the remote to function. Check install again, or the amp may be bad.

amp is bad, i checked over the board, nothings burnt but this wound cap thing came unglued. Think a tv repair shop would glue it back for me? If i can find the glue, ill do it myself, its black.

holy **** this amp is underrated. Its a lot louder and deeper than my memphis 1000. FOund the problem, soldered it back on, yay im so happy. havent had bump in 2 months.
