bass Processor??

I wouldnt waste your money on it, just get a good amp with a decent LPF and match it with a nice HU that has some sub controls built in unless your ready to drop some major money on the right kind of processors

Having these things really depends on what your looking for. They dont necessarily make the music sound dirty, just unnatural(when set correctly). When you add frequencies or enhance them, it changes the mix. Believe me audio engineers get paid lots of money to find the perfect balance when mixing the cd, and your screwing with that. For SPL they help because you get more bass notes, prolonging subwoofers high excursion periods, moving more air, creating more pressure. If your looking for quality...not a good idea because of what i stated earlier

depending on how they are used they are basically single band equalizers. for instance if i had a response graph that was flat except for 35hz i could set this processor to give me a small boost at this frequency that i could use to flatten my response graph. but most people just boost what is already maxed out causing a bad sound and bad sine waves that could destroy your subs
