The bass in my car was always louder on the front passenger side door of the car. I couldnt really hear any bass coming fron the drivers side of the car at all. I decided to replace all four speakers today and the problem is still there. I just bought this car (2000 Outback) a few months ago. After installing the speakers I found out that the fader and balance are switched on the head unit. While playong around with the settings I found that adjusting the fade to the front of the car makes the bass super loud on the front passenger side speaker. In order for the bass in that door to not freak out I have to adjust the balance to the drivers side and the fade towards the rear, which makes it sound off as well.
I was wondering if anyone hear had a clue about what I'm going through and if they had any advice. Ive seen on some other forums that people recommend checking the polarity of the spealers but i'm having this problem even after putting new speakers in. Sorry in advance if This is a dumb question.
