Bass Problem

I listen to mainly rap. I was wondering which frequency I should use on my deck, amp, and epicenter. Right now, everything is set to about 80hz. The high pass filter is off on my deck. When I play certain songs, it seems like the deeper bass takes over and I can't hear the other bass notes that well. Is the problem with my frequencies, the high pass filter, or subsonic filter? Where should I set the frequencies and subsonic filter on my amp and epicenter? Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I knew I needed glasses.

I'd make the subsonic about 25hz. but depends on what you like to hear. and depends on how loud you play the music. the bigger the sub the better the deep bass usually.

what songs for example?
