Bass level knobs??

The things that come with most amps that adjust the sub level, I've heard that they are bad to use and that you should just control the subs via the headunit.

Anyone know???

I think if you set the bass boost to the level you want and then set your gains. And as long as there is no distorted signal you should be ok.

just do what I did turn it all the way up then set the amp gain

remote gain knob is fine, remote bass boost = crap

As stated, set your gains properly and you should be fine.

I actually leave a little room to dial in a little more gain. I listen to a vareity of music and some needs help in the bass department.

how would i tell between a bass boost and a gain remote??

it will say +0 - +18db's thats the bass boost...

nope it says bass level on the front and goes from 0 to 10 or somewhere around there
