Does any bass knob work for any amp? I got a kicker one and a Soundstream one sitting at my house. Wondering if its compatible with my RD HW 9.0 amp.

No they arent all compatible.

I was wondering the same thing, I have a kicker amp and want to use it on my PPI amp, but im iffy because my PPI amp has Q Bass whatever that is, most likely a clever marketing ploy...

some use different value pots for adjusting and some are wired different...i have seen from 4 wire jacks to 8 wire jacks ...coming out of amps...some use two wire ...others mini dins or pin jacks....sometimes you'll luck up and have one work from a different amp

Buy a PAC LC1 and it will work with any amp

Nope. Know for a fact that a kicker knob doesn't work with a profile amp.
