is using the bass knob thats connected directly from the amp the same as turning the bass settings higher on the deck?

i normally keep my bass settings at 0 on the deck and sometimes turn it up to +2. would it be the same as if i used my bass remote and just turn the dial up a little?

If you are going to use the bass knob (generally not recommended) make sure you set your gains with it at the highest level youll ever use it, to prevent damage.

ya...ussually it's best (distortionwise) to leave the bass boost down and play with the deck EQ's....though on the deck eq it's best to havr the bass setting low and the subwoofer output set high if not all the way up.....thats the way i do it.
