I have dug around the internet and looked for an answer to this, and have found somewhere in the neighborhood of a million different theorys.
I have my BRZ 1700's gain set properly, and its running my 2 sundowns. I would like to be able to lower the volume of the subs without having to go through my headunit, when I switch from Rap to country, or classic rock. I had heard that the bass remote on the BRZ's is actually a gain control, and the MAX on the bass knob will match the gain setting on the amp, and the MIN on the bass knob will turn the gain down to 0, not allowing you to move your gain past your amps setting for gain.
Is this correct?
Or does it actually control bass boost which I DO NOT want.
The bass knob says boost on it, but the owner manual says that the knob controls level, not boost ( still do not trust that thats not a misprint.
