isent bass i love you full of like 10-20 hz tones?

i thaught playing below tuning frequency is extremly bad for sub's and causes it to reach its mechanical limits... why do people always use it in videos? i understand to show the sub's excursion but it almost looks painfull for the sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

More specifically you'd want to be looking into a subsonic filter.

Works exactly the same as a HP crossover but is designed for much lower frequencies (40Hz and below, generally)

but how come on many videos showing the bass i love you song the subwoofer actually plays the low tones? is every setup playing the song not using a ssf?
