You want your ground resistance to as close to 0 as possible. The stereo/electrical should be OFF for this. Also check the resistance on the subs/wire coming from the subs to the amp. Again, everything should be off. Tell us what both of these numbers say then we might be able to offer more help.how do you check the resistance?like what should it read on the dmm,do i have the amp powered up when i do this?
I would go ahead and connect it.....wire it to ground like everything elseis it necessary or no if it is i just have to pull my stereo back out and where would i ground it to since it hooke into the back od the headunit?
if the chassis of the hu is grounded well, you can ground to there, or the hu's ground itselfwhat im trying to say is its not that long so is thier a place i can ground it where the hu is or nothanks for your help
