Bass Fade Out?

I have a Kenwood KAC-9105D amp with 2 Rockford fosgate 10 inch subs in a sealed box. When i turn the volume up loud the bass fades out for a few secs and then comes back to being loud again, this keeps happing over and over. this only happens with this amp, my old amp didnt do this at all. im completly lost and dont know what to do. any help at could could be usefull!

Sound like the amp is going into protection mode. What impedance do you have the subs wired at?

4 ohms. Protection doesn't come on.

check your voltage, some amps like the JL 500/1 will cut the volume in half when the voltage drops below its tolerance.

Or you just need to kick that kenwood to the curb.
