my subs are slightly to tall for my trunk but they are in and i can close the trunk fine but there might be a slight gap of like 1/2 or 1/4 an inch. when i apply presure to teh trunk it would seem my roof also starts to flex and vibrate more. i was thinking about dynamating as well. also subs are close to end of trunk facing out.

im not understanding what you're saying. how many subs are firing up and how many are firing towards the taillights? and what is too tall? did you mean the box was tall? got some pictures?

Is the trunk lid hitting the top of the box when it is closed and they aren't playing music? Sound will escape from an undeadened vehicle and air pressure will push the trunk lid up, potentiially letting air and sound escape, but if you can't clode the trunk properly, no amount of deadening will help and your trunk will probably leak water as well.

well thought i might be able to help most people say sound deaden your trunk with second skin raammatt dynamat etc.....well i did alot of research and found this stuff at lowe's store for $24 25x35 a roll it did my whole trunk 3 layers on the trunk lid 2 on the bottom my trunk isn't that big but you can alway's buy more if needed anyways. And man what a diffrence:)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

What is that i used peal and seal?

barely, i cut out the trunk frame so its very flexible and it closes and latches.
That's a problem. You don't want it to be flexible. Not sure what to tell you, you should have rebuilt the box to fit instead of compromising the vehicle's tructural integrity. Sorry, but I think your only choice is to pull the box out and make smaller. Then weld some steel back into the trunk lid to give it sone strength. Deaden the hell out of it and put it all back together.
