Bass dosent wobble

I just read a 6+ thread on gain setting and it didn't answer my question so i'm going to post it here.

I got a DMM and I set it to AC V there is a 600vm 200m 20m and a 20 setting

Im looking to get to 34.5 volts.. My subs are disconnected, when it is on 600 I get 0 no matter how far I turn the gain up. 200m I can only get up to 5.0 20m is like 2.000. None of the settings let me get up to the desired 34.5 volts..

Can anyone give me a non sarcastic answer?

50hz is being played

use 60HZ and get a better DMM,my DMM's ac setting say 200v,600v,1000v

Set it at 60hz . 200 setting I set gain half way it is about 25.0 turn gain up all the way, dmm reads 14.0 turn gain off dmm reads 12
ok check the battery on your dmm,it might need changed,a low battery in a dmm can give you weird readings

Just bought it today, used the batteries that came with it. I unplugged my speaker cords, hooked the dmm into the amp outputs. 60 hz. Am I doing something wrong?

Volume at about 75 %

ok here is a little something you learn with experience in life dude,JUST BECAUSE ITS NEW DOES NOT MEAN ITS GOOD,that battery in that dmm can be bad.

So you are suggesting that I buy new batteries and put those in the DMM?

But you said new doesn't mean good, so new batteries probably wont be good anyways, whats to say those new batteries wont be bad?

Thanks for your help and time replying to my questions.

Just, replace the triple A batteries. when adjusting the gain. The numbers Flicker and go back to 0 im using a yellow dmm model etex 10709
