yeah bro my buddy has one kicker comp 10 in a prefab box and it is quieter than his bose 8 infinite baffle stock setup lol.

They sound pretty loud when I turn the music up..

If i upgrade subs, I would have to upgrade my amp as well? Meaning, lots of $$$$$

Hey under fire, I took the glass of my bandpass and my bass went down dramatically, but i dont understand why, because the glass really isnt doing anything since my box is ported.

bro you are probably clipping the hell out of those subs. if you have 300 bucks, we could reccomend you a system that would stomp on what you have now.

They r just a very low end sub...not meant to do what u want...this is a expensive hobby. most ppl here who arent pinching pennies have thousands in their setup

Why do you think im clipping the subs? The gain isn't even fully up, my understanding was clipping is when it is too loud.?

Also for 300$ I can get a new box amp and 2 subs ? That would stomp my current system? Hard to believe

Yes im very aware of that, this is my first system ever, I basically set everything up my self based on advice given here...

Idk how many people get their very first system and put 3k into it.

clipping is when your amp is being pushed to hard, creating heat, which can blow your whole system up. and yes, you can get some pretty decent stuff if you build your own box man.

Gain isnt a volume knob its meant to match output volts from the deck if u exceed this u are clipping..unless u used a dd1 or dmm or oscope to set the gains u are most likely clipping
