if i use the bass boost on my HU and my amp, will that be to much for my sub to handle, or should i use only the HU bass boost? Or neither? specs are in my sig.

go with no bass boost set your gains accordingly and everything will sound how its suppose to

neither. bass boost just leads to clipping

if u do decide to use bass boost set ur gains with the frequency that is boosted.

once you set it to your liking, you will have no use for the bass boost knob.

I heard bad things happen w/ use of it. IE amp damage??

ok, that's fine, i have my gains set right at 4v, so i will get rid of the bass boosts, thanks.

i use my bass boost because on some notes my L7 just cant seem to pull it off. then again i never used a meter to set my gains. i just use it cuz its easier to turn it down with a knob then reach behind my seat.
