bass boost

plug in a home phone and you have a car phone with that thing since it is wired into the headunit which is wired into the antenna...

No, a phone line is not cool to use.

I would recommend against using the bass boost, unless you are sure of how it functions. WHat amplifier do you have?

 
Those bass knobs affect input sensitivity, not bass boost //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif....well at least on my amp. But bass boost is usually a no-no, I hear it causes distortion.

 
they are only good if it is a true GAIN control knob, i have one for my hifonics but it stays in the same spot all the time i just adjust bass on the hu... if it doesnt adjust it down enough at zero on the hu ill turn the knob down....
