bass boost feature, use it or not?

What about the dial on the amp....is it the same as the remote or is it a different function...it says Bass Eq 0-18 db's. On the spec sheet this says 30-60hz.

Ok but I still don't exactly understand, would that mean that the knob goes from -18db-0db... or that the default setting on the amp without the remote is +18?

do not get bass BOOST confused with the bass KNOB. bass boost is a single band equalizer, and should not be used unless u have a dip in ur frequecny at about 45hz or whatever the frequency it is equalizing. the bass knob is just a remote gain, sometimes u just want to listen to music without having the bass all loud so u can turn it down, while other times u can just turn it up as desired. If the bass knob is turned all the way up it is the same thing as if it is not used at all.
