Bass Blockers, do they work?

What's interesting is that they don't tell you what ohm speakers it's designed for to get that 400hz crossover point....I assume 4ohm, but they should still specify.

they also make inline rca ''bass blockers'' as well. 400hz is really no help at all though. What are you going to be running them to I'm guessing mids?

Agreed, Ill find out when they get here if they make a difference, anything is better than buzzing door panels
Fix your doors, IMO. With a 400hz crossover you're not going to have much midbass at all, unless you're planning on your sub handling that.

Don't care for midbass, more a tweeter guy. Just listen to rap mainly. Now if i had the cash for a nice amped setup, it would be different.

Rap will sound like extremely bad poetry and a cymbal machine at that HPF. You will even lose some of the vocals with that HPF. An 80Hz bass blocker would be a much better alternative.

Yes. No problem, and no different than using outboard crossovers mounted up in the dash or near the amp.

SI makes nice subs. I'm an XBL guy myself, but I tend to listen to neutral/flat sounding drivers in general.
