I am trying to install some bass blockers on my 94 explorer. I know your supposed to solder them in series with the positive lead to the speaker. Unfortunently, I have no idea which on that is, I have a green and white wire, and a blue and red. I also wonder, since were in AC current, does it matter?
I guessed and put it on the green/white wire, and the bass kept coming from the speaker.
I am wondering if this is because - I put it on the negative wire, and thats not right - I bought the wrong bass blockers (150 hz at 4 ohms, 300 hz at 8) - or if bass blockers just ****. I know your supposed to get them higher than you think, because they gradually roll off the bass, but I just picked the lower because I am ignorent, and 150 hz sounded pretty high to me.
So, thanks.
