barrier strips?

Barrier strips...the little block of screw terminals isolated by a plastic barrier.

How they work? They...ummm...isolate the individual wires?

It makes hooking things up clean. That is right, the contacts on the strip are isolated.

But there are little metal pieces that screw down on them to connect all the terminals. I used barrier strips when I used a relay from my remote turn on lead. Now I got like 6 seperate terminals to hook up different accessories like fans and lights and more amps. But I had to buy one of those connector pieces to have power run along the strip.Oh yeah I looked at the extra parts I got and the connectors are called jumpers.
