bank account question

ok guys this is really starting to freak me out.

i do NOT have a chase bank account. lately i've gotten about 4 or 5 email notifications from chase about some unusual activity on my account. i have never even created an account on chase.com. is it possible someone could be somehow using my info? or is this a scam? here's the email i got sent this time:

Your online credit card account has high-risk activity status. We are contacting you to remind you that on March. 13, 2006 our Account Review Team identified some unusual activity in your account. In accordance with Chase Bank's User Agreement and to ensure that your account has not been compromised, access to your account was limited. Your account access will remain limited until this issue has been resolved.

We encourage you to log in and perform the steps necessary to restore your account access as soon as possible. Allowing your account access to remain limited for an extended period of time may result in further limitations on the use of your account and possible account closure. If you would like close your credit card account, please contact us, as soon as possible

bigtime scam....spam tose suckers and dont respond...if you do then they will get your info...why else would they want you to correct your info?? If your identity is stolen it isnt quite this easy

Scam.
Never give out any personal info online through a verification website...

Call them for re-asurance.
i'm thinking it is cuz i tried loggin in to chase from their website and i don't even have a password so i was wondering if someone had my info. plus only 1 link works but i didn't click it and the other 2 redirecting to chase.com aren't funtional.

it's phishing... ignore it... get a credit report if your really worried... also I don't think chase would email you over something so major... they'd call
yeah. just after 4 or 5 emails over the past couple months, i was starting to get freaked out. also, i'm gonna go package up the cdts and have them shipped out here in a few minutes. you have my word. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yay!....

ohh and you might want to get a credit report anyways if you've never had one. You can get them free and it's good to familiarize yourself with them b/c you'll probably spend many hours agonizing about your **** score over the course of your life...

Chase will call you. I just received a call from them today with a question about something I bought. I thought it was pretty cool that they called me to verrify a large debit from my account. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
